The International Swimming Federation (FINA) has announced that Brazilian swimmer Leandro Damasceno has broken the world record in the men's 4x100-meter freestyle relay.
Damasceno and his teammates, Thiago Pereira, Leonardo da Silva and Gabriel Cardoso, swam a time of 3:06.97 to break the previous world record of 3:08.22 set by the United States in 2015.
